“Cultural Studies and the Research of (Digital) Games” track at The 8th International Crossroads in Cultural Studies Conference in Hong Kong, June 17th – 21th 2010 features an interesting collection of papers, including a few that look to the relationship between games and film, including Harrison Gish’s paper ‘The Advancing Avatar.
